And now here's the the sketch I previously uploaded in glorious prismacolor!!!

This just sorta came to me, and I wanted to scan/post the sketch in case my planned coloring job doesn't turn out well! A slightly bishified Gaav carrying a badly wounded Valgaav wrapped in his coat off the battlefield! Sorta evokes a feeling like these two were the only ones to come back, and Gaav's determined to save Val's life. And even if you don't like the idea of Gaav and Val having a romantic relationship, this can be interpreted as really strong friendship or even just utter servant/master devotion! And I have an odd habit of writing dialogue to the sides of my drawings and I like this one so I shall put it here for you now!

"G-Gaav-sama..."
"Shhhh... It's okay... I've got you, just rest..."
"I-I'm sorry... I tried..."
"No no, don't say that, we all did, we knew what would happen, there's no reason to be sorry... Try not to talk okay?"
"I would give my life to protect you..."
"So would I..."

Awwwww.....I didn't know that Gaav put his trenchcoat on Val! It's a sweet thing to do! Cute! ^_^

Gaav/Valgaav is one of the very few same-sex pairings that feel even remotely plausible to me in Slayers, and they're so cute. :love:

(And yes, I 'ship V/F and X/F too; I oh, so very rarely ever develop an OTP devotion; most of my OTPs are in fandoms I'm not even involved with. ^_^)

.......................XD; I can't seem to think of enough words to describe how sweet this is. I don't care if Gaav's been bishified or not, it's awesome; wouldn't change a single dang thing.

And might I add that in light of recent events, this has evoked a few tears? Not that that's a bad thing--it just means it's effective art/writing. You should totally do the story that goes with the dialogue, man!
